... is the one you have with yourself." I love Diane
von Furstenberg's catchphrase because it is just entirely true. When the pressures of life and school and social commitments feel like they're getting out of hand, sometimes the only person you can rely on is yourself. I'm definitely feeling the pressure with school winding down. I can't believe next week is my last week of classes.
It's time to start making summer plans now, though internship interviews approaching are very
nerve wracking! A girl I used to work with has an internship with
DvF this summer, and I am so excited for her. I'm hoping she meets Olivia Palermo, because I have a bit of a crush on her.
These pictures were taken by Dani on Sunday. We spent the afternoon getting tea and eating
edamame at my favourite sushi restaurant here.

I'm wearing Made by Elves shoes, Cheap Monday acid wash jeans, Wilfred grey tank,
Clu white shirt, Shades of
Greige sweater,
UO hat,
thrifted and Kenneth Jay Lane
bracelets, and unknown and Frank
Gehry for Tiffany ring.
I'm off to brew a pot of tea and get down to work. I have a very exciting weekend approaching that I can't wait to share with you all.
Yay for parents. I'm almost at the end of my third year of uni and they're still the people I turn to when I REALLY need to go-for-it, vent-wise ;-)
ReplyDeleteLoving your jeans and the ring. You look gorgeous! And good luck with the interviews!
Thanks for the lovely comment :-D
another amazing outfit! you look gorgeous, the photos are so cool too :)

I love this outfit as well - especially the bracelets over your cardigan. You have amazing style :o)xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for my comment. Love your outfit here, that cardigan looks so comfy and warm. Love the hat aswell, the boyfriend nearly bought me an identical one at the weekend because he thought it suited me. I said I didn't think it did but seeing your hat on you is making me change my mind. Love the blog. Good luck with your interviews!!
ReplyDeletexx
I agree, your outfit is really gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteI love that DVF line as well- so true.
ReplyDeleteAnd Olivia is portrayed as a snide but I'm not convinced she isn't and it's all just clever editing. to be honest I used to love whitney on the hills, and I think she lost some of that luster in my eyes since getting her own show. Its like before I knew less about her and through her quips and small advice to Lauren, I painted this picture in my head of the perfect gal. anyways- back to Olivia, the girl's got great style.
I love reading your posts lady! you always look great there's such a genuine charm in your posts that I just find entirely relatable and that I really love!!
xx
edit meant to say "i'm not convinced she is".
