These past few weeks, I've been filming segments for Much Music's new makeover show on New Music Live. I am one of the stylists on the show, which gives weekly makeovers to girls who are looking to revamp their wardrobe and improve their personal style. My first episode of the show is going to air Tuesday, August 21 (tonight!) at 6pm EST on Much Music, so I hope all of my Canadians readers will tune in to watch it! (Edit: Click HERE to watch most of the segments of the show online! )
In the episode airing tonight, I made over Caroline from Whitby at Urban Planet. I hadn't been to Urban Planet in ages, and I was so pleasantly surprised at the clothes they had there. While it used to bring to mind clubwear and jersey minidresses, I found so much else there that was fantastic - including cozy sweaters with minimalist cuts and jewel tone skinny jeans that are perfect for fall. Caroline wasn't the only one who left with clothes - Liz Trinnear (Much Music vj and host of our makeover show), some of the crew and I all left with purchases!
During the taping of the shopping segment, from which these pictures were taken, I wore a blazer and trousers (similar style here) by Wilfred, a shirt from Zara, Michael Kors watch (available here) and my beloved Pixie Market flats (sold out, but as previously mentioned, a similar style is available here).
looks awesome :)
